The charity, CRASH, have honoured the generosity and loyalty of their Patron companies at their Annual Patrons’ Reception & Above and Beyond Awards on Thursday 6th September. The ceremony brought together senior representatives from the construction and property industry who have all given valuable time and resource to support CRASH.
Knauf was invited along and was awarded the CRASH Loyalty Award for 20 years of Patronage of CRASH. Emma Delaney, HR & Sustainability Director, was presented the award by Francesca Roberts, Chief Executive of CRASH, who said: ‘‘Knauf has given CRASH 20 unstinting years of support and over that time their expertise and products have helped countless homelessness and hospice projects." We are truly grateful to them for all their incredible help and encouragement. This kind of loyal partnership is incredibly valuable to the development of CRASH and everything that we do."
For those who are not familiar with the charity, CRASH is a unique, practical charity that assists homelessness and hospice charities with construction related projects, creating places that care for people. Knauf donates building materials for the construction of shelters, day centres, hostels, move-on accommodation etc, as well as providing financial support.
